The history of AEPL dates back to 1994 when Mr. R. Bhaduri, not being content with the quality of the existing indigenous products laid the foundation stone of a company that is now known as AEPL today. His foresightedness and intense premonition coupled with over 30 years of impeccable mechanical engineering experience in the gas industry prompted him to develop technologically advanced regulators for use with ultra high pure gases and calibration gas mixtures which provided proven diffusion resistant materials to control the exact requirement of service gases and provided the users with enhanced safety, durability and precision.

In the subsequent years his hands were ably strengthened by Mr. I. Bhaduri, who with his dynamic leadership qualities and excellent business acumen coupled with appropriate marketing strategies had accelerated AEPL’s business by leaps and bounds. AEPL is now one of the best known Gas Equipment companies in India and one that is committed to becoming the “SIMPLY BETTER” gas equipment organization through focusing on customer needs at all levels of its operation.

AEPL’s meteoric rise had been made possible since it started supplying regulators to renowned companies like Esab India Ltd., BOC India Ltd., Praxair India Pvt. Ltd., Inox Air-products Ltd., Bhurukas Gases Ltd., Nuclear Power Corporation etc.

In 1996, AEPL had entered the field of Medical Gas Equipment with significant success. The first development was Back Pressure Compensated Flowmeters with an accuracy of +/- 0.2 LPM for Oxytherapy.

In 2006, the company diversified its operation by setting up its chromatography accessories division with the sole objective of intensifying its focused attention to serve the customers with a “SINGLE WINDOW OPTION” for all laboratory requirements.

AEPL has been accredited with DIN EN ISO 9001 certificate for its continual performance of excellence and innovation.

In 2008, AEPL has added one more feather to its cap by setting up its own modern manufacturing facilities in a sprawling 16 Decimals land at Dankuni.
